That’s Metro Airways, a new airline with flights planned throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico beginning in 2019. Metro Airways plans to fly the ”Next Gen” AVRO RJ-100 from British Aerospace, equipped with 100-112 spacious seats n comfortable five-across seating, featuring the 2018 IntelliCabin by BAe -- offering our passengers complete comfort, whether flying for business or pleasure.
Metro Airways’ business and marketing strategies are based on achieving high (and profitable) load factors by targeting unmet demand in three key air-traffic categories: (1) Unserved and under-served routes on which high unmet demand currently exists or can be readily developed; (2) key niche markets where demand is either unmet or poorly served; and (3) meeting peak traffic demands on certain key regional, seasonal, and variable routes where very high load factors can be predicted despite existing but lower-quality competition, or where competition cannot meet the demand.
In addition, the new airline will be designed around utilizing the most up-to-date electronic, informational, and aviation technologies to ensure low operating and marketing costs, maximum efficiency in deployment of resources, and a high level of customer service and convenience. It’s this final element – dedicating the airline, its staff, and its organization to providing a high level of customer service and convenience while efficiently meeting the needs, wants, comfort, and safety of the passenger -- that will assure the Metro Airways’ rapid acceptance in the marketplace as well as its long-term growth and success.
